Itinerary

- The Hague - Plein and Escher (10')

Escher in the Palace (Escher in het Paleis) is a permanent exhibition in a former palace of the Royal Family at the historical heart of The Hague. It is dedicated to the work of Holland's most famous graphic artist M.C. Escher. Nearly all his prints are exhibited.

- Binnenhof (15')

Is a complex of buildings in the city centre of The Hague. It is the meeting place of both houses of the States General of the Netherlands, as well as the Ministry of General Affairs and the office of the Prime Minister of the Netherlands.

- Noordeinde Royal Palace (10')

The Palace Noordeinde ('Paleis Noordeinde') with its gracefully landscaped garden is situated on the Noordeinde. The Palace Garden is located behind Noordeinde Palace, next to the Royal Stables. The garden is open to the public daily.

- Grotekerk (10')

Together with the Binnenhof, it is one of the oldest buildings in The Hague. This gothic bulding is no longer use for religious activities except for the royal members who are baptized here.

- Peace Palace (15')

The Peace Palace in The Hague (Netherlands) houses the Permanent Court of Arbitration, the United Nations International Court of Justice and The Hague Academy of International Law. These institutions are supported by the Library of the Peace Palace, one of the most prestigious libraries.

- Rotterdam (2 hours 30 ')

- If your ship can´t dock due to inclement weather conditions there is no cancellation fee.

- If you cancel at least 7 calendar days in advance, there is no cancellation fee either.

- If you cancel between 3 and 6 calendar days in advance, you will be charged a 50% cancellation fee.

- If you cancel within 2 calendar days in advance, you will be charged a 100% cancellation fee.

What to expect

​

From Rotterdam's Port we will pick you up and take you to The Hague in 40min aprox. There a minitour will show you the embassy area and the Hague court or peace palace.
After we will start our walking tour through the Hofweg center, we will explore the Binnehof or the Noordinde Palace among other places around the Buitenhoff (Outer Court). 
At last, you will see the beautiful Big church (Grotekerk).

You will enjoy some free time when you can taste a famous apple pie, haring or just simply delight youself with the views.
We will see again at our designated meeting point to continue our way until Rotterdam.
Once there you will enjoy a minipanoramic of the modern architecture around the Charlois neighborhood, where you will encounter bridges, views of the Maas river, and the war memorial. 

After we will start the walking tour at the Central Station to discover the modern streets of Rotterdam, the town hall or the cube houses and the library, a landmark of the city.
In addition of the old port (Oudehaven), the Witte Huis and the guide will explain the interesting and important Lauren Church (Laurenskerk) history. 
We will finish our tour at the recently opened Markhal, a spectacular market with an incredible design and also all kind of food around the world.
You will enjoy some free time until we meet again at our designated meeting point to go back to the ship.
